Lion dance is traditionally performed to chase away bad energy and evil spirits, since monsters, bad vibes, and evil spirits are afraid of our lions and loud noises. While traditionally the colour of the lion holds significance, this is not observed as much anymore, with many lion dance troupes opting for bright and cheerful lion colours, such as fluoro pink!

Canberra Prosperous Mountain Dragon and Lion Dance have a diverse collection of lions to suit any occasion and theme. Do we have a favourite? Like children, we love all our lions equally!
