Prosperous Mountain Lion Dance (PMLD) Troupe was formed together by youth in 2007 to become Canberra's first locally-based lion dance troupe. We are a small but growing non-profit troupe that welcomes people of all ages and ethnic backgrounds to participate in this physical and ancient traditional artform.
We value commitment, teamwork and determination to join the ranks of the prestigious lion dance clubs within Australia and worldwide to promote the art of lion dance.
